What Paperwork is Required?

Each driver must send a copy of their driving licence prior to the hire. This can be in the form of an image taken on a mobile phone emailed to us.

N.B. It is a legal requirement for your driving licence to be registered in your current address. It is free and simple to notify the DVLA if yours is not up to date.

Our insurers require us to take two forms of proof of address per driver. These can be a utility bill, phone bill, Council Tax statement, or similar, but MUST be dated within 90 days of the first day of hire.

N.B. This address must match the address on your driving licence. If your licence has not been updated, it is free and simple to notify DVLA and must be done before we submit details to our insurers, so do please check in good time.

The DVLA Check Code replaces the paper licence and allows our insurers to see any endorsements that may be active.

The check code is simple to request online and only takes a few minutes. Here is a step-by-step of How to Raise a DVLA Check Code

N.B. If you do have endorsements, it is not the end of the world. Our insurers allow up to 2 separate 3 point endorsements. It may still be possible to insure you if you have more than this but we advise that you contact us to discuss.

Our Rental Agreement is a very brief form that we complete at handover. It takes your contact details during the hire, confirms you have submitted all relevant ID paperwork, and allows you to check over the campervan and record any marks/damage prior to hire. The Rental Agreement is then signed by both parties, prior to you setting off.

The Rental Agreement can be viewed by clicking here and  incorporates our Terms & Conditions.
