why choose us

Be part of the privilege scheme
Make use of our Bitstop guide for free stopovers across the UK.

Having camped in various forms all our lives we know what makes a great camping adventure and how important the little details are in making life on the road stress-free.

Oakley is a spacious, super comfy motorhome which has all the mod-cons you could wish for. His extra long bunks and easy to make double bed, means you’re in for a good night’s sleep. And the fully kitted kitchen and washroom provide that extra bit of luxury for longer trips or wild camping.

We have heaps of camping literature, maps and visitor guides available to borrow. And with a huge love of the Lake District and a passion for unearthing hidden gems, we’re happy to share our best-kept secrets with you.

As part of the Camping and Caravanning Club’s Privilege Scheme you have access to over 110 participating campsites, at discounted rates, throughout the duration of your hire period.

When hiring from us you also benefit from our Britstop membership, the UK’s guide to free campervan stopovers across Britain.

Don’t want to waste a moment of your trip shopping? Book an Asda or Tesco home delivery for the evening before pick-up, and we’ll load the van for you.

The camper is fitted with a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, first aid kit, safety detectors, and comes with 24-hour breakdown cover as standard.

We promise, no sudden hikes in school holidays and bank holiday weekends and no additional charge to add a second driver. Discounted rates are also available in low and off-season.

A selection of additional hire items are available to make your trip stress-free and extra fun, including bike rack, BBQ, bedding and towels, etc.

Park your car in our private car park for free during your hire.

We love our four-legged friends but sadly, due to our children’s allergies, we have to say no to pets. So, if you struggle with pet hair too, you may be reassured to know Oakley is a pet-free zone.
